Setting up your artist profile

When you first sign in, a short setup wizard walks you through your artist, one step at a time. You can skip steps and finish later from your profile.

What your profile needs before you can send a release

Your profile shows a small progress bar with three items. Two of them are required before you can send a release: your name and your photo. A social link is a reminder, not a block.

Sending music is never locked. You can send a demo or start a release at any time; it is the Send action on a finished release that waits for your name and photo.

Name

Your artist name, how you are credited.

Social

At least one link (Spotify, Instagram, SoundCloud, YouTube, and so on) so we and your listeners can find you.

Photo

A clear profile photo or logo for your artist page.

Already on streaming?

In the wizard we ask if you already have artist pages on Spotify or Apple Music. If yes, paste your artist links so we do not create duplicate profiles for you. You can find them on Spotify for Artists and Apple Music for Artists.

Reviewed before it goes live

Profile changes (bio, image, links) are checked by our team before they appear publicly. You will see a pending-review note until then.
