We distribute original music created by people. AI tools are part of modern production and we have no problem with them, but there is a line, and it is worth being clear about where it sits.

## AI tools are fine

Using AI or algorithms as part of how you make a record does not affect us taking it on. That includes:

- Mixing and mastering assistants
- Noise reduction, restoration and stem separation
- Pitch correction and tuning
- Sound design and instrument plugins

If a machine helped you finish the record, that is production. Nobody is going to ask you about it.

## What we do not accept

- Tracks where the composition, the instrumental or the vocal was generated by a text-to-music or voice model
- Any clone or imitation of a real artist's voice without their written consent

## Why we draw the line there

This is not a statement about taste. Stores are actively removing AI-generated uploads and withholding the revenue attached to them, so a release like that costs you money rather than making it. On top of that, a fully AI-generated work is very hard to protect in copyright, which means the publishing side has nothing to register or collect on.

## What we may ask for

Before accepting a release we may ask you for the stems or the session project, the raw untreated lead vocal, or a short video of you performing part of it. This is routine, we can ask anyone, and it is not an accusation. If you made the record, it takes a few minutes.

If we find out after release that a track was AI-generated, we take it down, and any costs already incurred stay payable.
